Hello There!

Do you like discovering new things?

Hello, I’m

MilijanaKomad

Product Design Lead with a PhD in Digital Arts. I design complex mobile and web products grounded in human behavior, and explore how AI and immersive technology can make them more useful. I work with teams around the world to turn complex ideas into products people can understand and use with confidence.

Work in motion

Feel. Breathe.

SERVICES

I help teams turn complex product questions into clear experiences. My work connects behavioral insight, product strategy and interaction design, from the first idea to the details people use every day.

I translate a brand’s character into a visual language that works within a product. Typography, color, motion and interface patterns need to feel related, while giving people clear cues about what to do next.

I make complex interfaces easier to read and navigate. That means deciding what deserves attention, simplifying the language and building a hierarchy that helps people find what matters without having to work for it.

I design purchase journeys around the questions people need answered before they commit. Clear information, useful comparisons and thoughtful feedback help them make a confident choice, from discovering a product to completing checkout.

I give an experience a coherent structure: what people need to understand first, what comes next and how each interaction moves them forward. The story lives in the flow, the language and the way the product responds.

on people & AI

Hi!

I’ve worked across social platforms, fintech, medtech, gaming and betting. Those settings ask different things of a designer: earning trust, explaining complexity, supporting a sensitive decision or making an experience enjoyable. I enjoy finding the right approach for the situation, rather than arriving with a fixed formula.

Across disciplines As a product design lead, I
focus on making clear, useful digital experiences.

Product Design UI / UX Design Behavioral Prototyping User Psychology Interface Systems Immersive Web (XR / VR / AR) Narrative Branding

Good product design starts with a clear point of view. I look at what people need, what the business is trying to achieve and what the technology can realistically support. The work is in bringing those priorities together without losing sight of any of them.

I work through ideas in flows, prototypes and interface details. Making something tangible exposes the gaps in a proposal and gives the team a better basis for deciding what to build.

I care about what happens after handoff, too: whether the design holds up in implementation, whether the system can grow and whether the team understands the decisions behind it.

Small details.
Real people.

I care about both.
01How I work

Behavior first

I start by understanding the task, the context and the points where people get stuck. I use research to frame the problem, then test the riskiest assumptions through focused prototypes. What we learn should change the design, not just fill a presentation.

02Working with AI

Design with AI

I use AI to explore alternatives, support production and prototype interactions that would otherwise take longer to make. Within teams, I pair experimentation with shared guidelines: what is useful, what needs checking and what should remain a human decision. The tool has to earn its place in the workflow.

03Leading teams

Lead, and still make

I lead international design teams and stay involved in the craft. I help set priorities, make critique useful and keep research, product and engineering connected. Staying hands-on with interaction, motion and prototypes helps me guide the work with a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver.

Some of my collaborations have continued for years. I value the trust that develops when people can speak openly, challenge an idea and rely on each other to follow through.

An interface tells people what a product values: what it makes easy, what it explains and how it responds when something goes wrong. I want those small decisions to show care for the person on the other side.
